American 17-year-old Jacoby wins gold in 100m breaststroke

American 17-year-old Lydia Jacoby has shocked 2016 champion Lilly King to win gold in the women’s 100m breaststroke. The 17-year-old, the first Alaskan to represent the US at the Olympics, clocked 1:04.95, while South Africa’s Tatjana Schoenmaker won silver with 1:05.22. King came third after touching the wall 0.59 seconds behind the winner.
