Dortmund and Leipzig start new coach eras with cup wins

German Cup holders Borussia Dortmund beat third division Wehen Wiesbaden 3:0 (2:0) in the first round in new boss Marco Rose’s first competitive game in charge on Saturday. The defending champions easily reached the second round of the DFB Cup thanks to triple goal scorer Erling Haaland. The Norwegian scored all the goals in the unchallenged victory in front of 4,882 spectators and thus ensured an early decision.
