Environmental protesters blockade German Farmers’ Association HQ

Environmental campaigners renewed their climate protection protests in Berlin by blocking the entrance to the German Farmers’ Association on Tuesday morning. Several dozen protesters sat in front of the entrance of the building in the centre of the city. Protest organizers say several demonstrators have glued their hands to the doors. The Farmers’ Association has so far made no comment. An alliance of campaign groups, including Extinction Rebellion, claimed the association was only “concerned with the fat agricultural corporations,” which they blame for destroying the soil and creating carbon …
