German rail travellers face threat of further industrial action

The German train drivers’ union warned again on Thursday of the threat of further industrial action as the nation’s rail travellers were hit by another round of delays and cancellation of services across the country caused by a two-day strike. The strike action over the union’s demands for a pay rise, including a coronavirus premium, is due to come to an end at 2 am (0000 GMT) on Friday.
