France is discovering what happens when Netflix makes a hit show set in your back yard. A bookshop, restaurant and beachside town have become some of the country’s major selfie hotspots thanks to the streaming giant’s choice of backdrops for shows. “Lupin,” a show about a gentleman thief is doing the same for spots up in Normandy such as the beachside town of Etretat, ever since a key scene in the second series was set there.
