UN envoy holds talks with Syrian foreign minister in Damascus

The UN special envoy for Syria, Geir Pedersen, held talks with Syria’s Foreign Minister Faisal Mekdad on Saturday, to discuss the situation in the war-torn country and the stalled talks about a new constitution, state media reported.
