Verstappen edges Hamilton for Dutch pole, Raikkonen out with Covid-19

Red Bull’s Max Verstappen narrowly took pole position for his home race on Saturday, the first Dutch Formula One Grand Prix since 1985. Verstappen, who also had pole last weekend at Spa before winning a farcical Belgian Grand Prix over two laps, was roared on by thousands of orange-clad fans and set a best time of 1 minute 08.885 seconds. Defending champion Lewis Hamilton, who leads Verstappen by three points overall, will be second on the grid after trailing by just 0.038 seconds.
