Area and State Police Disperse Montclair Party of More Than 200 on Christopher Street

Several residents of Christopher Street called police Friday reporting a large house party on the block. Officers cleared the area as the party was small in nature. At approximately 10:19 PM, officers responded back to the area as the crowd on the street had grown to approximately 200-300 people. Mutual Aid assistance was provided by Bloomfield Police, Glen Ridge Police, Cedar Grove Police, Verona Police, Nutley Police, Essex County Sheriffs Department, and the New Jersey State Police to help clear the area.
