Criticism follows Russia’s Lavrov after early G20 exit

German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock accused her Russian counterpart, Sergei Lavrov, of refusing to enter into proper negotiations after he departed early from a G20 meeting overshadowed by the impact of the war in Ukraine. Lavrov was skipping the sessions on Friday afternoon as well as the official dinner, the Russian Foreign Ministry confirmed.
