Indonesia Central Bank Issues New Series Design of Banknotes

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Indonesia’s Central Bank has announced a new series design of Indonesian banknotes for circulation on Thursday, Aug.18, a day after the country celebrated its 77th Independence Day. The new series design of banknotes are featured in the denomination of 100,000 Rupiah; 50,000 Rupiah; 20,000 Rupiah; 10,000 Rupiah; 5,000 Rupiah; 2,000 Rupiah, and 1,000 Rupiah.
