Rate worries lead to worst week of the year on SET

Recap: Asian shares were mixed while European shares rebounded yesterday as investors digested policy tightening by major central banks. The SET index moved in a range of 1,544.26 and 1,616.31 points this week before closing yesterday at 1,559.39, down 4.49% from the previous week to record its worst weekly performance of the year. Daily turnover averaged 80.92 billion baht. Retail investors were net buyers of 17.2 billion baht and brokerage firms bought 872.3 million baht.
