RNC Warns Trump He’ll Lose Legal Funding If Declares 2024 Presidential Run

The Republican National Committee told former President Donald Trumpthat they will stop paying his legal fees should he announce another bid for the White House before the midterm elections. “The party has to stay neutral,” RNC Chair Ronna McDaniel told ABC. The RNC has paid around $2 million to law firms representing the former president, even after voting to cap spending at $1.6 million last December.
