Report shares were relatively muted premarket Thursday, up a couple of percent after the electric-vehicle-market leader reported earnings after the close Wednesday. The Austin company beat second-quarter-earnings estimates but missed on revenue expectations, even as it grew sales more than 40% from a year earlier.
