Austrian leaders debate planned lockdwon for the unvaccinated

The heads of government of Austria’s federal states met on Sunday for a videoconference with Chancellor Alexander Schallenberg to discuss a lockdown set to be enforced for people not yet vaccinated against Covid-19. According to a draft already leaked to the public, the exit restrictions are to come into force by decree as early as Monday, and will apply, initially, until November 24. Unvaccinated people would then only be allowed to leave their home to perform specific vital tasks.
