Borussia Dortmund captain Marco Reus will not be part of Germany’s Euro 2020 squad, he announced on Instagram on Tuesday. “After a complicated, energy-sapping and, thank God, at the end successful, season, I have decided along with the national coach not to go to the European championships,” said the 31-year-old. He added that the decision was difficult, but that he needed time after a personally intense year and wanted to give his body some time off.
