Brussels anti-virus measure protest draws 3,500 and fresh clashes

A protest against mandatory Covid-19 vaccination and containment measures drew crowds of thousands and once again turned violent in the Belgian capital on Sunday, Belga news agency reported. A few hours into the protest, police said 3,500 people were taking part and that there had been confrontations with demonstrators, according to Belga. The organizers themselves gave an estimate of 50,000 participants, the agency reported.
