Daimler boss optimistic about car business looking ahead into 2022

Optimism levels remain high and should remain so through the start of 2022, Ola Kaellenius, the boss of German carmaker Daimler, told industry publication Automotive News Europe, in comments published on Tuesday. While he acknowledged that there are many unknown external factors right now, he said demand for vehicles will probably rise in the second half of 2021, a trend that should continue into 2022, he said.
