Defender Adams leaves Leipzig to continue injury recovery in US

Defender Tyler Adams will not play for RB Leipzig in the final Bundesliga game of the season on Saturday having gone to the United States to recover from injury. Adams “has left our quarantine training camp to travel back home to continue his rehabilitation on his back problems,” the club said Wednesday. “Get well soon, Tyler! We’ll see you next season.” The 22-year-old defender has not played since the end of last month with injury.
