Former Australia boss Postecoglou takes charge at Celtic

Celtic have named former Australia boss Ange Postecoglou as their new manager on a 12-month rolling contract, the Scottish club said Thursday. Postecoglou, however, will have to wait to take an active role as he faces a coronavirus quarantine of 10 days having quit his job leading Yokohama F. Marinos in Japan to move to Glasgow. The 55-year-old Postecoglu has coached various club sides and lifted the Asian Cup at home with Australia in 2015. He also took the Socceroos to the World Cup in 2014 and 2018.
