Former Dinamo Zagreb coach Zoran Mamic was arrested on Wednesday in the south-western Bosnian town of Medjugorje, the Bosnian portal klix.ba reported citing local police. Mamic was arrested on an Interpol arrest warrant at the request of Croatia, his home country, according to the report. He had previously been sentenced to almost five years in prison for fraud. The verdict of the supreme court in Croatia’s capital Zagreb was handed down in March this year. As a result, Mamic immediately resigned of his position at Dinamo Zagreb and fled to Bosnia.
