German para-jumper Rehm wants to be nominated for Tokyo Olympics

Para long jumper Markus Rehm has called on the German athletics federation DLV to nominate him for the Tokyo Olympics starting next month. Rehm told dpa ahead of jumping Sunday out of competition at the national able-bodied championships that he should be allowed to compete at the Olympics in the wake of a 2020 ruling from the Court of Arbitration for Sport. “I wish that the DLV shows courage and says: ‘we will find a solution,'” Rehm said.
