Germany’s state governments worried about corona measures expiring

The premiers of Germany’s 16 states are urging the federal government to maintain measures to contain the coronavirus pandemic through the winter, despite indications by Health Minister Jens Spahn that relaxation is pending. A draft resolution to this effect is to be considered by the premiers at their two-day annual gathering which began in Koenigswinter near Bonn on Thursday. The resolution is to be debated on Friday.
