Indonesians rally in support of Palestinians at US embassy

Thousands rallied in several Indonesian cities on Friday to support Palestinians and denounce Israel’s airstrikes on the Gaza Strip, hours after a ceasefire was declared. About 1,000 people gathered outside the US embassy in Jakarta to condemn US support for Israel, many waving Palestinian flags. “Indonesia stands with Palestine,” read a large banner.
