Italy demands answers in wake of fatal cable car accident

Italian officials promised a quick investigation on Monday, a day after a cable car heading up a mountain in the country’s north crashed to the ground below, causing 14 deaths. A special commission has been set up to help prosecutors who are investigating the case, said Infrastructure Minister Enrico Giovannini. He travelled to the site of the accident on Monday, along with the head of the Civil Protection Agency.
