Kroos not worried recent Covid-19 infection can keep him out of Euros

Germany midfielder Toni Kroos has recently recovered from a coronavirus infection but the Real Madrid star is not worried this will keep him out of Euro 2020 starting on June 11. “I didn’t train properly for a total of nine days. But I’m basically fit to play. We’ve had a long season, I’m not starting from scratch,” the 2014 World Cup winner said in an interview to Spiegel magazine on Friday. “It should work out by the start of the championship,” Kroos said, assuring he would be ready for action for Germany’s first match against World Cup champions France on June 15.
