Kroos says he is ready for the Euros after Covid-19 illness

Germany midfielder Toni Kroos has said he is fit again and ready to play at the Euros after being infected with the coronavirus. “In terms of corona, I don’t feel anything. I’m ready to play,” Kroos told reporters at the end of a team training camp in Austria. The Real Madrid player tested positive in mid-May and had to go into quarantine. He joined the Germany team on May 30 after testing negative.
