European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde ruled out any immediate moves to begin winding back the organization’s 1.85-trillion-euro (2.25-trillion-dollar) coronavirus financial relief plan, saying to do so would be “premature.” She said exiting the Pandemic Emergency Purchase Programme (PEPP) was not discussed by the bank’s governing council. “It’s too early and too premature,” she said.
