‘Last Night in Soho’ – A blast from the femicidal past

A year after she turned millions onto chess as the genius of “The Queen’s Gambit”, Anya Taylor-Joy has now taken the lead role in a feature film. At first, “Last Night in Soho” seems to be the story of an outsider, Eloise (Thomasin McKenzie), who has moved to London to begin her studies in fashion and is sharing a home with an elderly lady.
