Do you beat yourself up after saying the wrong thing at a party or eating a second slice of cake when you said you wouldn’t? Most people are much more critical of themselves than they are of other people; they should “show more self-compassion,” says internist and naturopath Gustav Dobos in a German-language health magazine.
