Platini: UEFA chief Ceferin’s Super League stance ‘laughable’

Former UEFA president Michel Platini has slammed his successor Aleksander Ceferin for being too harsh on the teams who tried to form a breakaway Super League. “The big clubs have wanted to leave (UEFA) for 40 years. When you are UEFA president, it’s better to anticipate it than to see yourself in front of a fait accompli and treat the leadership of the clubs as ‘cowards’ or ‘snakes’ – as Ceferin did.
