Renewed Berlin pro-Palestinian rally after 93 police officers injured

Some 400 vehicles carrying 1,000 passengers passed through the streets of Berlin on Sunday in a pro-Palestinian demonstration after a rally in the city the previous day left 93 police officers injured. The convoy of vehicles made a halt in front of the Axel Springer media building where the company had hoisted an Israeli flag, before proceeding to the Neukoelln part of Berlin. A police spokeswoman said the protest against Israel’s actions in the Gaza Strip had proceeded peacefully.
