Ryanair revises down its forecast in the wake of Omicron

The Irish low-cost airline Ryanair has lowered its forecast for the current business year, announcing in Dublin on Wednesday that it was now expecting an even higher loss due to the spread of the Omicron variant and the associated travel restrictions. Ryanair is now forecasting a net loss of between 250 million and 450 million euros (283 million and 510 million dollars) for the financial year that runs until the end of March 2022.
