Stuttgart’s Mangala may have had false positive Covid-19 result

VfB Stuttgart may be able to rely on midfielder Orel Mangala sooner than expected, after the player first tested positive, and then negative for the coronavirus. Shortly after Mangala’s first positive PCR test, a second one came back negative, Stuttgart sporting director Sven Mislintat said on Sunday. “It may well be that Orel was a false positive. I think he will have a new PCR on Monday morning, then we’ll see what the result is,” Mislintat said.
