Thailand’s Ko Samui offers quarantine-free holiday for the vaccinated

Thailand’s second-largest island, Ko Samui, has joined Phuket in starting a model project that allows fully vaccinated tourists from 69 countries to enter without having to undergo quarantine. The countries on the list include Austria, Mongolia, Norway and South Korea. However, even tougher rules will apply than on Phuket. Travellers must have remained in their home country for the 21 days leading to departure, show a negative PCR test and undergo more testing over the course of their holiday.
