Thyssenkrupp predicts strong year ahead as restructuring proceeds

German steelmaker and engineering conglomerate Thyssenkrupp has predicted profits of more than a billion euros (1.1 billion dollars) for the current 2021-22 financial year on posting strong results for the year that ended in September. The group noted continuing uncertainties from the shortages of semiconductors in particular that are hitting all industrial companies and said operations would continue to be impacted over the year ahead.
