Trip to movies hinted at abuse she faced as a teen from Epstein and Maxwell, woman testifies as government rests case

NEW YORK — A trip to the movies with Jeffrey Epstein gave 16-year-old Annie Farmer a hint of the sex abuse that was to come, Farmer testified Friday at Ghislaine Maxwell’s sex trafficking trial. Farmer was the Maxwell accuser to testify as a prosecution witness in the 10th day of evidence presentation at Maxwell’s trial. The government rested its case Friday, and the defense is expected to begin presenting its witnesses next week.
