Volkswagen shows preview of its first budget electric, the ID Life

Volkswagen has already been working on an entry-level urban electric car for some time, and we’re now finally getting a glimpse of what it might look like when it arrives in 2025. With the ID Life concept, on display at the IAA motor show in Munich, the German car giant is giving a first look at VW’s version of budget electric mobility. VW says when this small car is launched in 2025 as an extension of the ID family, it will start at “about 20,000 euros” (23,800 dollars) in its home market, making it 10,000 euros cheaper than the current ID3.
