Witsel a surprise inclusion in Belgium’s Euro squad

Belgium coach Roberto Martinez has included Borussia Dortmund’s Axel Witsel in his Euro 2020 squad – despite the midfielder not playing since January due to a torn Achilles tendon. “We are happy about the good news from Axel Witsel and his rehabilitation,” Martinez said in naming his 26-man squad on Monday. “He has earned it to be in the squad.
