A goal deep into extra-time from Ewa Pajor gave Wolfsburg a seventh consecutive women’s German Cup, and eighth overall, on Sunday despite having keeper Almuth Schult red carded in the final against Einrtacht Frankfurt. Wolfsburg had the better chances in regular time but also suffered the first half loss of captain Tanja Pawollek, who was carried off with an apparently serious knee injury.
