Vice chancellor sees energy opportunities for Germany in Middle East

German companies can benefit from cooperation on energy between Israel and its Arab neighbours, Vice Chancellor Robert Habeck said after meeting Prime Minister Naftali Bennett in Jerusalem on Monday. Habeck, who serves as minister for economic affairs and climate action, said he had discussed with Bennett whether European companies could become involved and had come to the conclusion that there were opportunities.
